Job Summary :
Lakeshore Engineering Services, Inc. is a growing federal government contractor. We provide construction and environmental contracting services to DoD and other federal agencies. Contracting mechanisms include design-bid-build, design-build, construction (RFPs), IFBs, design-build-plus. We are seeking a talented Project Director who can cohesively work in a team to support winning proposals and to ensure that daily field driven aspects of construction, especially those of subcontractors and suppliers, complies with the requirements of the contract for a particular project.

Job Responsibilities :
Reviews RFP’s and plans to determine time frame, funding limitation, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Notifies and negotiates with Government on changes to RFP scope. Oversees the estimation process to assure that jobs can be performed for the amount bid within margin. Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of additional project personnel. Ensures that all project activities are consistent with contract specifications and company policy.
Job Requirements :
- 5+ year’s construction experience with hands-on field experience as a Construction Site Supervisor.
- 3+ year’s construction Project Management experience. Background working on Federal Government programs/project preferred.
- Completion of Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering disciplines.
- Construction estimating and scheduling experience.
- Strong people management skills.
- High planning and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills with experience using software for managing projects.
- Understands contracts, construction plans, and architectural drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective negotiating skills.
