Job Description:
As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for executing the indirect auto finance underwriting process for our dealership and affiliate relationships. Our affiliates are other auto dealers and their personnel who are authorized to transact business with our dealership. In this role you will perform following functions: •

Render credit decisions within credit policies, procedures, and fair lending guidelines while exercising good judgment•

Communicate adverse decisions to clients while maintaining strong business rapport•

Negotiate decision change requests as warranted, and manage exceptions•

Manage workflows within assigned markets to enable excellent servicing levels, responsiveness, and accessibility•

Serve as affiliates primary source of credit-related information•

Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with affiliates•

Cultivate and develop internal relationships with Sales counterparts to grow volume, as well as with Documentation and Collections teams.•

Negotiate and resolve program and product policy exceptions regarding residuals, pricing, and documentation issues•

Contribute to your market's profitability level through volume generation and efficiency management; this will include scheduled outside visits•

Meet or exceed targets for ROE, volume, conversion ratios, dealer performance and other metrics. Maintain an acceptable level of loss performance.•

Perform credit investigations in support of due diligence to assist in the Fraud Prevention Process•

Develop portfolio to be able to sell to interested parties
Skills:
• College degree in field related to finance or business preferred•

A minimum of five years credit analysis experience within the auto finance industry•

Indirect lending experience required•

Experience packaging and selling auto loan portfolio’s a must•

Knowledge of the auto finance industry required•

Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills•

Experience in a heavy call volume environment•

Professional and has ability to work in a constantly changing environment• Quality driven, detail oriented, and dependable.• Motivated to succeed and resourceful.• Knowledge of financial products and procedures and fair lending regulations• Customer Service oriented with the ability to maintain relationships• Strong analytical skills with ability to compare and contrast data
